Just got a lunch break, been sitting in the courthouse all morning waiting to be selected for jury duty... looking like I'll be sitting on a criminal trial after lunch.
You mean you can't tell if a person is guilty by just looking at them?!
You can, and that's why I keep asking to be on a jury!
I could only imagine you on a jury. That would be worth watching.
I was one of two folks who were annoying the ADA by asking for clarification on poorly worded questions :P.
"What do you mean by "Caucasian"? How much Caucasian do you need? Do you have a scale as to how much Caucasian you can have on a jury? Am I too Caucasian to you?"
Ha! One question that was asked was something along the lines of "Can all injuries be seen?" I wanted to know what they meant by seen: do they mean observable (includes senses other than sight)? visible to the eye? visible with using technology?
Makes perfect sense.
There were a few questions like that. I was surprised to see professional lawyers asking questions that had such a low level of precision.
That might have been their goal.

meh - I'm not realllly dependent... but yea,.. it's what I have. The outage hurt the kids more than me - but they'll get over it. Push come to shove, I could have connected to my phone,.. or the Samsung Galaxy I have. But as it was late enough in the day and nothing was being worked on, I did other things...

meh - I'm not realllly dependent... but yea,.. it's what I have. The outage hurt the kids more than me - but they'll get over it. Push come to shove, I could have connected to my phone,.. or the Samsung Galaxy I have. But as it was late enough in the day and nothing was being worked on, I did other things...
I hope it doesn't move any farther south on the east coast. My internet is working right now, lol.
