My god! sudo dnf install virt-manager -y on my Korora 25 laptop, and in less than 30 seconds, I've connected to my KVM server and ready to start making VMs. This is the exact opposite of the rigmarole involved with connecting to Hyper-V with Hyper-V Manager with non-domain-joined computers (aside from the fact, I'd have to use my P99 (Windows) computer to connect to Hyper-V).

Heading to sleep. Day 1 of KVM has been posted, and I gained a few XP with LVM.

been avoiding having to deal with <user created issues> for over an hour now....

Sadly now I have to deal with it. ~smh~

Can't get a license from the AutoCadd Lic Server? maybe someone else needs to release their lic so you can use it,.. that is what the Lic server does.

                sigh

Half day for me today. Usual morning stuff, then I get to move a server over to the colo, then I get to have a nap! Which is handy, because the Harvey rains have settled in... great sleeping weather. Might be going down to Dragon Con for a bit later for some kickoff parties.

Sounds like a joy,.. remember - bend and lift with your knees, and use the buddy lift system.

Back with another episode of the #it-help channel.

User: I tried to forward [something] to my personal Gmail address and [got an NDR].

Me: You're welcome to put in a ticket if you wish, but know I have no control over what Gmail servers do and don't accept, nor how they route their messages. (the NDR she described seemed odd).

User: [pastes some of the NDR, which is griping about SPF records (which haven't changed in two years and have worked fine)]

Me: You're welcome to put in a ticket if you wish.
