I had the slowest weekend of on call in company history this last weekend and everyone is joking around with me about it. Monday morning meetings underway in about 5 minutes and coffee all day.

                That sucks 😞

Coffee and Pain Zappers should do the trick, though.

@obsolesce Thanks. Unfortunately its more complicated than that. Ive got a blockage in some gland in my lower mouth/upper neck and it hurts like crazy. Makes me feel sick plus I can't eat or drink normally

Just got my laptop back from Dell repair. Having to rebuild it back to its glory. This is going to take a while.

The six stages of workstation reinstall:

                            1. The OS install went faster than I expected.
                            2. There are a ton of patches
                            3. How can it take 14 hours to download one version upgrade
                            4. Finally ready to install software
                            5. I know I'm missing something

Steps 6-429: Oh yeah, that is what I forgot to install.

Seems about right. I tend to wait until I need something 5 minutes ago before I install it. That way, some of my crap stays gone... but only some of it.

I'm presently flying the ship solo, coworker on vacation. Got my coffee in my left hand, vape in my right. I'd say I wasn't especially concerned about this as I can deal with most anything that comes up however I know that Murphy's law never sleeps.
