      It was quick to prepare.

so? were you out of time?

      Just needed some coffee.

And I hate to waste it.

that is just sunk cost mentality.

I keep forgetting - My apologies, Our "server" is the Office PC which acts as the fileserver for the PoS.

For short we usually just call it the Sever, But yeah, I had them restart the switch first, and then the PC, and she was complaining it was still running slow.

Because the Point of Sale system see's the PC as the File server ? I guess I dont understand the Comment of "Ew".

Is it not technically a File Server? based on the definition, I'd say it falls within a reasonable instance of the term " File Server", No?

Using end point hardware and OSes for server roles.

Yeah the "Ew" is in regards to what hardware and OS that is being used. The fact that PoS lined up in the sentence so well just drives home the point of this piece of ****.

Makes the "Ew" all more accurate.

@scottalanmiller @DustinB3403 @wirestyle22 Makes more sense now, I never said It was proper/ but it is what we use. Hell we even FakeRAID 2 HDD's ( RAID ran from the BIOS if i remember correctly).
But yeah, It is what it is, until something i do can change it, I just have to roll with it.

Ew applies whether you claimed it was proper or not 😉

Sewage is still "eww" even if it is where it is supposed to be.

I'm wondering why my bash script is now resulting in "Unexpected end of file: line 73". . .

                                    WTF!

                                          Trying to get a site back online , They just had a new company come in and change out the Modem, and now the PC isn't getting internet, We set our Firewalls to be DHCP when we install them;
The fact I cant get them back online restarting the Firewall -PC , Firewall - NIC , Modem- Firewall is kinda frustrating.. May have to go on a road trip .
                                          Sigh
