@siringo said in What Are You Doing Right Now: well the bootcamped mac has finally been replaced with a dell inspiron 1650. not a bad machine. build quality isn't bad, not up to the mac standard, but neither is the price. so far so good. only gripe i have is that when doing not a lot and listening to streaming music i get that buffering/staggering sound occassionally. i got the i5 with 16gb. maybe i should have got the i7. too late now. could be a wireless issue, not a processor one - or the HDD, etc..

@Dashrender yeah, spose. I need to test it at home. only really used it work so far.

sitting in a slightly darkened room starting tuesday.
milder than it should be. 'they' say it's going to be a warmer winter than usual with less rain.had the 2 yearly pay review last week. got an extra buck twenty an hour, so that's an extra 0.60 per hour extra for the past 2 years. i was earning more in the 90s. anyone else in that bag?

D&D is tonight at the house.

Been a trip since getting into this renovated building. Different challenges and new setups. Working on making adjustments to the new door access systems. Learning a decent bit on these new systems and been fun.

Reading through the legalese of a work benefit.

I just went full-tilt slash and burn on some old DNS records. Did it manually because 85% of that subnet is about to be repopulated with new systems. Felt really good to watch the list shrink to 8 or 9 entries.

 been raining here ALL day.

It's been a quiet week around here! I'm having coffee and enjoying a cool morning. Doing lunch in an hour with my local headhunter (he finds us a lot of talent.)

I know it may not be often but that is how I like going to the beach. Peaceful setting so you can enjoy the scene… not noisy crowd with people.

Coffee and about to have leftover pizza. Had a big party at the house last night.

Testing new Ansible control node deployments.
