All the trees and flowers are blooming, spring is fully here! Even though the pollen sucks, spring makes me happy.

you know what that means? Summer is right around the corner!!

Ugh. Where'd winter go, we barely had one this year. Yes, I'm one of those contrarians that prefers cold weather.

          Same here.

dude my winter lasted waaaaay too long. it was from december till march

lol. I don't really get a winter. Although, we have had quite a few rainy days this year, which I love.

Just finished filling my Taxes Not getting much back but I literally doubled my income from a year ago today.
and technically I no longer live below the poverty line ! in my state.
                I'm proud of myself.

that's good - in fact owing a little isn't a bad thing either - means you got an interest free loan from Uncle Sam.

ah yes, I have yet to actually give taxes back.
                Hopefully that doesn't actually happen

eh? - weird way to look at it, but meh.

I like getting money back - its a weird way of saving money for me, Getting a tax return gives me money back

Me too. I purposely take home less per check so I get back more in the spring, because saving money is tough.

Atleast I'm not the only one.
I was just offered to take over payments and refinance my moms car .
With insurance and payments it will be ~ 450 a month..
It'd be tight but I'm sure I could make it work.. Have to figure it out though

                Don't do it!

Stay in a cheap car. Sure it will have problems, but it will cost you less in the long run - and you'll have more money for actually important things - like you kid.

I've put more money into this current car then I bought it for.
                it still has problems.

Regardless, The numbers dont work out for either of us SO I'm sticking with the Car that will likely Die in the next year, hopefully i get the loan paid off for the maintenance it needed.

Yep, been in my daily use toolkit since the day I got it. I reckon some of the first servers I opened with it where some SystemPro's. I can still remember how darn awkward they were to put the covers back on, the HDD cables, SCSI from memory, always used to get pinched. And the one's I really remember were, I think in one of ASIO's (or someone similar) Melbourne offices. You had to have someone with you every second and if you were seen to be alone, they spoke to you over the PA and told you to stay still until someone got to you.

I miss those high powered days when I felt important.

It's all about finding the middle ground. Finding a mostly reliable car. Personally, you're likely taking over your mom's car when it might need new tires, might be needing a new belt, new brakes, etc, etc, etc. you could be walking into a ton of repairs, even on this sorta new car.

You're likely much better off looking at a used $10K car with 3 year payments around $300/m (after it's been checked for the main things - won't need tires for 30K miles, belt looks good, transfluid looks good, etc, etc, etc)

Im going to message you private
