I have the ebooks and started reading them and then... just got side tracked. I suppose I should finish reading them.

I've never seen it, but I hated the first book to the point I wouldn't even keep reading it. But I've visited some of the GoT filiming sites (by accident.)

 <!-- is just a comment and wont be seen by anybody if used in a web page I just used it to make a comment on a ticket and my ticket disappeared. ...  -->

I used a HTML comment to make a note in our ticket system, (because I wanted it to stand out from the other comments.. )and now I cant find that comment.
It shows that I have 3 comments on the ticket but only 2 are seen in the ticket.

Because it's an HTML comment... your browser isn't going to show it on the screen... but you might be able to view source or inspect element to find it.

Correct, the purpose of a comment is to not be displayed. That's it's only purpose.
