Wasn't a big problem, but it's something I forget about from time to time. Note: I didn't do what was in that article. I found another way to do what I wanted to do, but the article describes what's going on.

 Just upgraded MDT from 8443 to 8456. Testing it to make sure my older 1709 deployment still works. Then creating an 1809 deployment and testing that. From there, I will test an in-place upgrade from 1709 to 1809 via WDS.

 I got 1 day to complete 2 weeks of doco that's not been started. Should only take me a few hours I hope.
