apparently the on call is changing to every other week.. between 2 people.
which means every week that I have my son , I'm on call..That's too bad :(. We change every week, but there are 6 of us right now.
my boss is "still recovering from his shoulder surgery" so he cant take it. theres 2 of us here, and That screws me out of time with my son...
So... work with the other guy to where you can get the time with your son and not be on call. If he's not willing to work with you, then he's a dick.

Yeah I'm tired as can be right now, need 30 minutes. Also have an early start tomorrow morning. . . long hauling down to Pittsburgh PA.

yes.
The on call is Mostly remote access, However if we need to replace a terminal he would have to go on site and lift a terminal, and or move his arm the wrong way, etc.

Oh no he said I could take this weekend, but I have a full scheduled weekend with prior engagements that I cant reschedule.
