I'm sure we do. Another team handles that. I guess they'll have a fun time figuring out which folder this dev wants out of the thousands on that server.

Ah. Well it shouldn't be so difficult to recover, assuming the Dev knows the path "of that folder".

Hence my /sigh. Would've been nice for that to have been included in the original complaint. Perhaps my expectations are too high.

Oh! Ha I assumed you were just truncating the request and were complaining that people are just randomly deleting things.
