so i got mesh central working and it's pretty good.
when I did the install I didn't use the --install switch so I don't have Windows service.
How can I add a Windows service so it will auto start after a reboot??

If you know the service executable, use sc.

      sc -?

Almost 24 hours since installing Pop! OS on my TV computer. It's been awhile since had a Debian/Ubuntu desktop based system on my home computers. My preferred OS, Fedora Workstation is on my desktop and laptop.

I ended up putting Pop_OS back on my System76 laptop (with 20.04). I'm always torn because I like both projects: Pop_OS and Fedora.

I'm like that too. I have two identical desktops, one with Ubuntu and one with Fedora to help me with that problem.

Reading a little about networking and KVM. Trying to understand a bit more about why we tend to use macvtap in virt-manager for stuff.

Because it is the current best way to get a network adapter.?

It supposed to simplify virtualization network bridging instead of using linux bridge.

That appears to be the truth. So now my curiosity turns to learning a little bit about the different modes.

And it appears to have succeeded with simplification.

Just learned that Hogwart's in Harry Potter is named after the mispronounciation of the goblin's name at the beginning of Labyrinth!

Watching this movie after all these years, it's amazing how much of Harry Potter is clearly inspired from this movie.

got my mesh central server to start after a reboot simply by putting a script in a startup group policy on the MC server.
that'll do as a solution for now.

Updated MeshCentral to 0.5.22 and clean up my config.json settings.
You can now record remote desktop session to file and screenshot of the remote desktop.
