The shorter drive will be nice. And getting back to doing more than limited desktop support will also be nice.Well.
Offer letter received. Will go from a total of five days off to
- 10 holiday days;
- 3 weeks as PTO; Sick /vacation;
- slightly more per hour.

Annoyed with the new company we're in the process of merging with. We were supposed to have our Microsoft 365 moved to their tenant yesterday. It's today, Sharepoint never got migrated and logins are still not working.
We have all our client documentation in sharepoint, so this is going to be a REALLY PRODUCTIVE day, lol.

3rd world would probably be nicer than a lot of the rural areas around here. Don't know about @Dashrender's part of the country.

A couple weeks back, we had the local transformer blow and the power was out for a couple hours while we weren't home. Annoyed the neighbors with all my UPSs beeping.

I'm working from home today; the Dog decided at 6:00 this morning that she was going to get into a bunch of things that she shouldnt and ate some things not so good for her.. Called the Vet and was told to keep an eye on her.

This is a IT consulting Firm Local to me, and I was looking to send them my resume ...but it looks like their cert is invalid or self signed..
So that begs the question- is it normal to use a self signed cert on a public webpage?
- would i even continue to send them my resume ?
