Spinning up some VMs. Much practice needs to be done with using Ansible templates.

We might have finally figured out some ongoing issues with a Ubiquiti wireless network. Phones and tablets kept dropping off the network randomly. IP/subnet/gateway/DNS were all good but couldn't ping the APs or anything behind them even tho the phones had good ip settings.

They had us create a new wireless network, and disable some advanced settings: https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/221029967-UniFi-Troubleshooting-Connectivity-Issues#advanced-features Be sure to use the classic interface for that as they don't all show up in the new version yet.

About to close out the first day of what I expect to be my first full week at the new office. Lot's of previously mis-managed things,... like Printers and Printer Contracts. They use Meraki APs (kill them with fire!!!)... and well just an otherwise utter mess of things. Glad to be here, hope I can improve on a few things.

Sounds like a few major improvements are already obvious, good luck!

I've got an Amazon Basics version that I use for work. Motor is quite enough I can be adjusting in while on the phone.

With Using Macruim Reflect - can you also image / restore from network drive? We have a unsustainable model of using external USB drives... and I think there are four different drives with different builds.

@gjacobse I invested in an Uplift desk for my apartment office. As much as I hate parting ways with my money, it was a great decision. In my opinion, anything that gets you on your feet will be worth it.

Yep, that's why I stuck with Macrium Reflect. Have to manually add the network share, but the option is there. Forget doing 1 a time when I had 26 of the things to prep!
