google chrome is eating up 100% CPU on my laptop intermittently - I had to upgrade and clear cache/browsing data just to get zendesk opened today. looking at task manager and opening chrome it opens 15 instances at once. Does anyone know what could be causing that?

Still catching up on things after getting back from Virginia - was a good trip, good to see family.
Now trying to deal with the three computers I ended up coming back with. Server may be good to go - pass it off to someone in need, Desktop will likely get stripped and recycled or donated. But the iMAC,.. that I have to figure out how to clear/clean to sell. I can't recall the last time or even if I have ever wiped and loaded a MAC. It's ad AiO, so not going to pull the drive out as I would a desktop or laptop...
