We've been at the holiday events all day. Just getting to the hotel now. @dominica's cousin picked up two six packs so we are ready for some beer drinking.

Tomorrow is Fourth of July party with the family and then driving down to Lexington, Kentucky to see @g-jacobse

visited Nezu Jinja (a Jinja is a Shinto shrine) this morning.
Always purify yourself by washing your hands prior to entering the shrine center.
Then when you go to pray you first toss in your donation to this box in the middle. Less than ¥100 according to my wife or it seem like you are trying to buy the gods' fortune.

Little bit on the late side,.. Had breakfast with @scottalanmiller as he traveled through. Was a good lunch, almost 3 hours...

Was getting my 5yo ready for school and missed the first two goals of the Women's World Cup match.. Game over. Japan is going to lose. You do NOT come back from a 2-0 deficit in this class of play.

I don't. Wanting everyone to be winners is a f**** (moderated) stupid idea. But that is a completely different rant that I will not get into here.
I just wish Japan had played better. Seriously 4 goals in 15 minutes does not belong in the World Cup at all, let alone in the final.

Getting back into the swing of things here. Got to see friends and family on the 4th, and dodge a few fireworks... It was fun!

Was a nice weekend. Came back to some failed backups, and other fun server issues mostly with TFS (Team Foundation Server) again.

I discoverd last night that you can't move Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 VMs back to Hyper-V Server 2012.
