What Are You Doing Right Now

Well - maybe it was a mistake,.. maybe not. But the page is turned and I have never gone back.
Deleted the one account I needed to externally - Google/GMail. And the list of passwords I had kept has been put through the shredder. Not getting them back now.
We joked - for months - how people would leave and then return,.. or say they were leaving - but in six months. Some went from full time to PRN.
It was the company that you could resign any time but you never left. So many of the staff said I could always come back - I was leaving on 'good terms'.
In thirty-five years there has only been one company I have considered and even inquired about returning: NTG. I have never and otherwise would never consider returning to a company I left. There was a reason I left - why would I return.

Today is my "Sunday" last day of my weekend. I got pinged in our slack messages that they need help with some issues so I had to hop on. No idea how long I'll be on today.

Things have been oddly quiet around here... Must be the holidays. All the viruses (college kids) must be going home after finals already. -

I worked on one of those today too,… started with deleting the printer and driver. Which worked with the install of universal driver

Lol, true. This company does a fair amount of shipping,.. we are ordering a dozen printers in the next few months. Printers aren’t going anywhere for us.

I went to the historical Plaza Theater in Atlanta last night to see Chunky Shrapnel - the live concert documentary film by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard! What an absolutely beautiful, powerful piece of work. Glad I saw it on a big screen with big sound, the way the audio is done is so crazy and psychedelic.

Just found out that Expedia opened up a fake website for our hotel, has been informed it is fake, is leaving it up and stealing the money for our reservations (hotel isn't even open, it's closed) and threatening us with extortion of bad reviews if we don't give free rooms to the people that they took money from!

back was feeling better, meds were working enough to have me moving. but today getting the kiddo from school, I started to turn, hip and lower back popped and I about collapsed from the pain. back to square 1

Ended up in the ER until 3 in the morning, got there at 7:30 ish. after waiting in excruciating pain in a wheel chair (cause I could barely walk) for almost 3.5hours I got back to a room, another 2 and i finally got meds, Doctors are thinking it's a slipped disc, but I refused to do an MRI for couple reasons, 1. there were 12 people in front of me, (roughly 9-hour wait) and 2. I'm not paying out of pocket for an MRI that's just too much money. the doctor even said it's expensive. Home with new "how to care for this issue" paperwork and waiting to hear back on follow-up appointment happy friday eve

Yeesh. take it easy there cowboy! Seriously though, get to feeling better and if the doc contacts your insurance and pre-approves it, will they pay? (I ask because some will and some won't).
