If you are a Civ fan, it's the best thing since sliced bread. If you are not, not worth anything. I find the Civ games are love 'em or hate 'em games. Either you are addicted or you can't find the entertainment in it. I never meet anyone in the middle.

Civ 5 is really good. I wasn't as addicted to it as my other friends but it has some really nice enhancements over Civ4.

I have an embarrassingly large number of hours logged. I'm not sure how it compares to my Civ IV hours since I played that mostly pre-Steam. The game itself is good, but where it really shines is with mods.
