HOw was it. I think it is an interesting concept.
It was pretty good movie. The actress did a good job acting out different personalities for each person. The are some WTF moments in the movie too.
Considering what I remember of the plot line,.. yea I would say so. I think it would be really difficult to pull of what the family does for as long as they do,.. As long as the 7 of them are acting out the single person line that is fine,.... but each one of them need to eat,.. so how to you hide that fact... Rather diffictul to do. I would see it raising some flags - there is just the three of you, why do you need so much food......

I like the idea of Origins as this concept of 10 minute episodes to fill in back story. I hope they don't do anything stupid, like turn it on.
The history is fairly well known at a high level, with the only activation being in 1945.

As a fan of the series, I am a bit biased on that answer.
I watched some of it as it aired but then I dropped subscription TV service back in 2003 or so.
I went through the entire series when I bought the DVD box sets as they came out.
This is my first full watch of the series since.

Yes, I'm not a big fan of the series, it can be a bit too campy in places, but the story line is really indepth for a sci-fi show and the lore as a whole really pulls you in. Atlantis was even better.
Of course I liked Stargate Universe more then I liked the other two series.

I subscribed to ShowTime just for this show. Once it moved to SciFi I dropped ShowTime like a hot rock!

SG -1 was certainly campy at times, but as you said, the actual overarching story was quite nice.

Really, Universe more than the others.. most people I know don't agree with that. I like them all. It definitely sucked having Universe end!

Really, Universe more than the others.. most people I know don't agree with that. I like them all. It definitely sucked having Universe end!
I have not watched all of Universe yet as I have not had paid TV service in soooo long. I liked what I watched of it though.
I plan to go through SG-1 Atlantis, and Universe though.
