This is a very common thing when a serialized manga gets an anime adaption before it is completed.
The same thing occurred with FMA and they choose to go in a totally different direction. One, Full Metal Alchemist and the other Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Both good. It may be common but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

No, but you have to accept that it is the "normal" or "standard" for the genre.

I do, but I don't like it. That's what I'm saying. Bleach is an example of bad anime, common anime, but bad anime.

@jaredbusch In a way anime is a lot like horror. 99% of it is garbage, but the good ones are a work of art. Not discounting garbage horror though because I do watch them as a comedy and they are great.

I like these live action movie adaptations, and most cartoon movie adaptations of these. Gets rid of the 90% fluff and just does the main points of the story.
Like Bleach is just the entire first season of the anime in a 1.5 hour movie.
Or the DBZ cartoon movies which just get down to fighting; I already know Goku likes eating lots of rice don't need to see it in every episode. -
