What is the cheapest processor anyone here can reccomend for a work PC?

I'm looking at the Intel Pentium G3420, is that alright for some light multitasking and a lot of documents?

Really depends, if everything is old style apps an Atom would actually work fine. If all web apps, you need slightly more power as JavaScript in the browser is not the fastest, most responsive thing. RDP uses extremely few resources on the client end. Some VPNs need a little more oomph.
