Our bosses are super laid back. Sometimes they will announce an early day on a Friday, then we go eat wings and drink beer on their dime.

Our bosses are super laid back. Sometimes they will announce an early day on a Friday, then we go eat wings and drink beer on their dime.
Same here, I expect the boss will send people home early today. Except me, I have to work late. But mostly because I'm the boss that will send everyone else home.

I assume basically everyone is heading into a four day, or longer, holiday weekend? I know NTG is closing in a few hours (except management who have a lot of non-tech work to do this afternoon) and won't reopen till Wednesday.

nope... I took vacation for the 26th-28th., to watch my kiddo during him being out of school.
We're here til 5 today/ 1 or 2 on Monday. -
I am, but only because I took vacation on Monday. The office is open for 1/2 day.

Yes we had the same issue here but they nicely decided to close for the day.

Heading into 2 weeks vacation as of 4pm.... although vacation with family isn't quite the same.... Holiday family suppers start tomorrow night at the mother-in-law's

Homemade Irish cream recipe (this is a double batch):
It's more of a formula...about 1C heavy cream, 2ish C dark booze (doesn't matter what really, you can't taste specifics,) 2 cans sweetened condensed milk, some instant coffee powder (to taste, I use maybe 1/4 c +) and other flavorings (grenadine, chocolate syrup...creme de menthe or amaretto could be nice...)
Mix the crap out of it (I use the immersion blender) and it won't separate, but shake occasionally. This makes about 4/5 of a handle.I've had this version many times, it's delicious.

While we don’t have it as part of the company policy, they have at least closed the Friday after thanksgiving for the past 5 years.
I can see why they don’t close these days... most medical offices are just slammed from nov 1 to dec 31 as people are trying to squeeze every bit from their yearly insurance plan.

I'm 1 of 3 who get to be on call Christmas Eve. We don't expect anything other than a password change, maybe. No going into an office.

This one is not sweet, tastes more like black coffee and spice cookies. Quite heavy but good.

Death Wish coffee and server patching. My holiday wish is that soon all my servers will be VMs and running 2016 so I can just use Windows admin center for all of it.

Just learned that you can't get Yuengling in Texas. Not that I would ever look for it, but I was surprised. Turns out they just don't have the production and distribution to go this far. But they just entered Louisiana so we might get it in a few years.
