Keychain Issue in Mac
-
Can anyone help me ?
 -
I don't use Mac, I'm happy to say
  But I have no idea how Keychain works, because I avoid using Mac. -
Any active Mac users
 -
It's Mac, not MAC. I keep editing for you. MAC is the Ethernet addressing. Mac is the computer.
 -
Done

Why do you mean by reset? Removing all stored passwords? Or is it nagging you for a password?
 -
Yes,the password issue in the machine.Mac is in Domain and the reset need to be done by command line without any data loss
Keychain issue is like Windows Credential manager
 -
Ok, so that solution in linked article should work. Set it as a cron job and forget it. If in doubt test it on a single machine.
 -
@marcinozga Whether it will delete all users library files ?
 -
No, just keychain.
 -
@marcinozga Will try in the test machine and update the same
 -
Just keep in mind, this will delete anything stored in that user's keychain.
 -
@marcinozga That is all password?
 -
Yes. Well, Keychain stores all info in 3 locations that I'm aware, so some data will remain.
 -
@marcinozga Thats not a problem
 -
@Lakshmana Why do you always ask how to fix a specific issues instead of trying to understand how the processes work?

In order to change a Keychain password, you'll have to know the original password used to create the Keychain. If you don't know what that original password is, simply create a new Keychain with a new password and enter passwords into the Keychain as you or the user comes across applications that require a password.
