Will anyone be using CentOS 8, or will every just keep using Fedora?

I'll still prefer Fedora, and use CentOS as needed. It's still better than Ubuntu, and I still use Ubuntu, even tho I throw up a little every time I install it.

You could always use Debian or an derivative of Ubuntu.

I always try Debian before Ubuntu. That was not an exhaustive list of distributions I use.

Wow, Wayland is the default display server.

            Fedora 28 base.

RHEL 8 is also Fedora 28 base.

Yet by the time it releases next year Fedora 30 will be out. Possibly Fedora 31.

What would cause people to switch? No changes here, just the expected, slow release of CentOS as usual. If you want CentOS you'd already be on it, if not, you'd already be on Fedora.

That's one place where I think Atom is ahead. You don't need an account to do it. Just share the link.

What's a real use case for that other than look what I can do? Training? Correcting?

I can see this be useful in a programming class where a teacher can help students with their code.

@jospoortvliet points out that this release is mostly about under the hood and app improvements. Not a lot in the way of things to "see" other than simply a better experience. Sharing is supposed to get an upgrade.

Asterisk 16 is now available to be switched to in FreePBX 14.

FreePBX 15 is in beta alpha still, apparently.

It is super hard to switch versions too..

Switch to root if not logged in that way

                                          sudo su -

                                          Then fire off the command.

                                          asterisk-version-switch

Microsoft has revealed that some users of its Office 365 and Azure clouds may have been unable to access the services since late Monday afternoon, Australian time.
The outage only impacts users who choose to sign in using multi-factor authentication and has hit the company's Europe, Asia-Pacific and Americas regions.

                                            https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/11/19/azure_down/
While Azure's support orifices continue to maintain a dignified silence on the issues, the Azure status page has had an update: "Engineers have explored mitigating a back-end service via deploying a code hotfix, and this is currently being validated in a staging environment to verify before potential roll-out to production."
                                            Ā
                                            Final update
Azure is back on its feet, while Office 364 is still borked for multi-factor auth.

EDIT: Already being discussed here: https://mangolassi.it/topic/18415/microsoft-multi-factor-auth-down-worldwide
