      WTF, why?

Now I get to say, You're kidding, right? to you.

MS is trying to put themselves everywhere. Keep themselves in people's minds.
Not to mention that they are trying to compete with Google in some feature ways, first one to mind - what you're browsing on your desktop can now flow to your phone and vice versa, just like Google can do.

Now that said - I don't think the public will care.

Just another spot for their browser to fail and Mac people to mock them, though.

What are you talking about? This means it will work since the backend has to be webkit.

Doesn't have to be Webkit on Mac, does it? That's only for iOS.

You trotted out the Mac people phrase incorrectly and I simply ignored that and treated your comment as "Apple users"

OH, my brain just saw it and thought Mac for some reason. Sure, iOS will work, and be pointless.

                https://www.itnews.com.au/news/mass-hack-confirmed-at-comments-plugin-disqus-474954
Disqus will reset passwords for users of the popular comments plugin provider after a hack in which millions of credentials were taken by unknown attackers.

                ...

No evidence of unauthorised logins to Disqus have been discovered so far, but the company said the email addresses revealed were in plain text and users may receive spam or other unwanted messages.

I'll have to test it out later because it currently works like shit inside Firefox on Fedora 25/26.

LastPass on Firefox haven't been working correctly for awhile. I haven't notice the same issue when using Chrome. For example, "Show Matching Sites" works correctly on Chrome but Firefox show's nothing until I started using the new beta version.

That is one of the issues I was having with it on Fedora also.

i worked around this by right clicking in the password box and clicking lastpass > autofill, etc.
This works pretty well on FF on Windows.

I'm really pleased with bitwarden. I haven't had any major issues with it and it's so much faster then LastPass. The one thing I like/dislike is that it doesn't offer to autofill stuff in. Not a big deal though, you click on the icon and click on your site and everything works.

You should try it out. The bitwarden mobile app is also phenomenal. On Android (not sure about iOS) it can fill in the username/password in both apps and websites.

I'm really pleased with bitwarden. I haven't had any major issues with it and it's so much faster then LastPass. The one thing I like/dislike is that it doesn't offer to autofill stuff in. Not a big deal though, you click on the icon and click on your site and everything works.

I have autofill disabled in lastpass so this sounds awesome to me.

You should try it out. The bitwarden mobile app is also phenomenal. On Android (not sure about iOS) it can fill in the username/password in both apps and websites.

So can LastPass. Sadly, that function is missing on iOS. The things you trade for security.
