@dbeato You generalized "Linux" which is wrong. In a reply, yes, but without specific context in your post.

I specifically responded to the Exchange 2010 bit.

Please read everything before getting pissy.

Okay, if I generalized "Linux" that might not be great but the point I was making is that Exchange 2010 can work in Firefox in a Linux OS properly. I don't expect Exchange 2010 to look decent but I was just trying to prove the point.

If I am getting pissy for you that's very strange because I am not.

        Wanna know something really cool?

Many of you know I have taken on the initiative to get 100% away from Windows at work on my company system. I have come across many challenges and have been able to overcome everything.

Yesterday my team lead approached me and said he really liked what I did with Fedora. He believes that the rest of IT security team should no longer use Windows. It is a goal we are going to work towards. He recommended that I met with our Linux team and we are going to look at using Red Hat satellite to PXE boot Fedora images to replace Windows in various areas!

@irj That is really cool and good luck with it. I enjoy almost everything I do on Linux more than windows.

I used Evolution on my box and this works very well. But i stopped using it in favour of OWA once we were on office365. Evolution still works on office365, but the owa interface (chromium and firefox alike) works very well.

Oh and guess what I am the guy on my team going to Microsoft Ignite. Lol

I get to be involved in the O365 process from on prem. I am pretty excited about it.

I had to go through a million settings to get it the way I wanted it, but now I am liking it ok. Definitely not as good as Outlook or OWA, but usable.

I also found that you cannot trust Evolution to listen for exchange updates. I found it was spotty and unreliable. I set it to check with server every minute instead. I know that isn't ideal, but I can't miss stuff for 20 minutes.

@irj Strange, I don't have a problem getting exchange updates. I couldn't say why you are though. Just strange

It happened to me twice where I missed email for about 10 minutes. Then I could no longer trust it.

Do you also have Listen for server change notifications checked too?
