      As I explained in my other thread here
      It froze up again . I am completely lost right now.

      there seems to be a direct correlation between Microsoft Security essentials definition updates and the system freezing up.
      The system freezes every time MSE installs a new update definition. I'm trying to think of why/ how this could have an effect on the system.
      Looking through the System Event Viewer I see the same as I saw in the update Details.

        Could this have something to do with it?

        That was the time of the last lock up as well, according to my program logs and customer calls.

          @WrCombs That's just a logoff event. You may have conflicting software.

            Do you have windows defender enable too?
            Disable it since you are using MSE.

              Defender is shut off - thats how I know we're using MSE
