I started to look at this at the end of my thread for the POP3 to Exchange Migration but haven't had time to look at it again until now, mainly because a manager is getting irritated that this isn't resolved.

Basically, since going from POP3 to Exchange ONLINE, a single user is getting duplicate reminders for calendar events that only show up as single events in Outlook.

      Troubleshooting So Far:

      Outlook /cleanreminders
Deleting the old Outlook profile and rebooting.
Combing Outlook for any clue as to the cause of it.

These all appear to be previously entered calendar events before the move to exchange. The only odd thing about this user was we did two copies of his PST import over due to a random crash on his PC and it perhaps made some duplicates but we for sure can't see them.

He does sync reminders on his iPhone and iPad and iPhone looked good...he hasn't brought his iPad in yet.

      Any other suggestions?

Do you have two copies of the profile locally?

No....one of the first suggestions @Dashrender suggested was to remove the old profile...did that...only runs from the Exchange profile...

If you go to Mail in Control Panel, and look at the profiles in Outlook, is there only one listed?

Is the user getting duplicate reminders in OWA?

                      Great question!

Is the PST still mapped? I'm guessing now since you mentioned I mentioned redoing the profile.

I think he deleted and recreated the profile. I would think that there is no PST mapped or attached at this point. When he deletes and recreates that profile it pulls mail down from the Exchange Server and builds an OST file.

OWA is a good test since it rules out any local issues with Outlook and Outlook profiles.
