Plantronics Savi 720

I have awesome Vendors! I reached out to Cassidy Kjeldsen (some of you might have spoken to her at SW), about a month ago asking if they have an evaluations program. See I had an issue with some Jabra Pro headsets that we had gotten, with having them disconnect another headset in the room when it picked up a call. No amount of working with support would get rid of that issue.
So instead of us paying for evaluations or just having a test unit for 30 days. They sent me a Savi 700 for free.
I LOVE this thing. I plugged it into my desk phone, which is a Yealink T32G and my desktop and it was detected right away, Installed the software for it which gave me lots of options for configuring such as Ring Location, Headset to PC Radio Link, Software logging level. Multiple ring tones for different softphones such as Lync and Skype. I can also control the max decbile level for things ringing etc.
I am so far very impressed with this headset and now I can have my assistant on a headset and myself without disconnecting each other!

I'm reviewing some Plantronics headset choices for a client today myself. Always good products.

Might want to correct your title. You got a Savi 720. The Savi 7xx products all have the same features but are different headset styles. I have the 730. Anyways, don't forget to install the Lync Smart Presence software, which is on Plantronics downloads page. Here is the link:

That will enable it so that if you are on a call on your deskphone, using your headset, you still show as "in a call" on Lync. Or your cell.
