Anyone else experiencing issues with CloudFlare right now? CF is reporting IAD and four European datacenters are degraded. Is CF being hit with a global Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS?)

I am not. Unlikely a DDOS could bring down cloudflare, there pretty big.

          www.aaronstuder.com is loading fine 🙂

No, it is $60K with CF for ML to be using it as their CDN. So we are doing without them except for DNS which is not impacted right now.

They are not down, but they are impacted by region. Amsterdam, Frankfort, London, Paris and Virginia (IAD) are all impacted. Other regions are not. So if you are checking from Connecticut you would not know that most of the eastern seaboard and most of Europe are offline.

If you use a global monitoring tool like ML does, you would see CF impacted around the world. CF is self reporting the issues as well.

Nope, $60K is the lowest cost option for MangoLassi to work through CloudFlare. Otherwise the site won't even load.

Given that Imgur and Gravatar already function as CDNs for nearly all of our content, there isn't all that much value in CloudFlare here anyway. The ML engine itself is pretty much producing nothing but text.
