Now I reboot it's working (hyper-v) but no NIC!!!!!! but yet it was there when I first installed. Downloading XenServer7 (with latest fix) will try again! Now I've moved all my Hard Drives round

Me too! Very temped to just use ESXi again to get my Linux machines running again and wait until a better server becomes available to use
(well going to give XenServer one last try!)

I think you should live stream the entire installation so we can watch what is happening while you install.

Edit: I'm an idiot... You may want to use another laptop... or a phone that you can use a rear camera and point it at the screen of your server.
