Anyone have a good soldering iron + stand recommendation? I try to stick with 50w+

If you haven't already found one, I picked my last one up via Adafruit... Whiiiich has been discontinued

Aye, get one with some balls, no 15w waiting forever garbage.

I have 2: a 30W that is too weak for just about everything (waiting game) and a 60W which is just about perfect. I usually use it on smaller wires (18-22 AWG) and I haven't had things melting on me, nor have I had to wait long to solder.

50-60w is usually the sweet spot for sure. Any recommendations?

Mine's just some Chinese thing from Amazon. Does the job.

I've been eyeing this one: https://www.amazon.com/Weller-WES51-Analog-Soldering-Station/dp/B000BRC2XU/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1484857978&sr=8-8&keywords=soldering+station

I've been eyeing this beast. Would be a huge space saver for my limited space!

      Whoa. That's a spicy meatball

knock off wellers - they're all over Amazon. See if you can get one with adjustable temp + bonus if it comes with extra tips etc + bonus if tips are weller compatible

something like this, but MOAR powaahhh

I could actually use a good desoldering pump too now that I think about it.

Desoldering pumps are nice, but I've never found one that will entirely clear away all the solder. They do a great job of clearing the majority of it away so you don't have to use as much of the expensive solder wick.

Haven't seen any homeless in Rome, but Vatican City is covered with them.

This is fairly common. There are some small/organizations that will take them in to increase the population in their favor. A religious organization in Utah (not the obvious one) was famous for it.

No zippers or buttons. So you know she's doing some goofy ass maneuvering to get into this dress..

Buttons are probably under the flaps.

@thanksajdotcom It was an immediate thought as I saw her walking out to the parade room that she's sitting in now.
