The Hazlet Township Police Department said Thursday on Facebook that a resident received the package on Tuesday. The department also said it is working to locate the package's "correct" owner.

Disciplinary documents from Moody Middle School say the 14-year-old student used the baby carrot as a weapon. The student said she never meant to hit the teacher in the forehead.
