Twitter just got the rights to broadcast all NFL Thursday games.

          http://www.bbc.com/sport/american-football/35970379

So I couldn't care less about the NFL, but what I am wondering is... how is Twitter going to monetize this? I mean, now that I know Twitter shows stuff... I still have no idea how I would go about watching or finding anything! As an interested possible Twitter viewer, as a long term Twitter user, I don't have the first clue how to use their service to consume this content that they are spending a fortune to get the rights to.

Twitter owns Periscope... I imagine they will use the Periscope platform to broadcast it.

Maybe they will recoup what they spent on Periscope!

Rumour is that 500 migrants trying to reach Italy went down and perished at sea tonight coming from Libya.

I'm a bit surprised there is more than 40 ft of relief inside Houston.

yeah...Auto-play videos are annoying...autoplay where you can't stop it is infuriating.

Good let Texas deal with the their own issues without my support, I live in NY, I've never even seen Texas.

And you know what once they do leave, I hope that Mexico takes over it.

LOL - not likely. More likely to go the other way, Texas will invade Mexico and take it over. Hell, maybe we'd end up with out own mini China right to the south.

And if that happens, and you think we have a border problem today... you ain't seen nothin' yet!
