Let's just say it is not a even slightly up to date system.

 Single point of failure with the switchgear, surprised there wasn't a backup. Usually they have devices that monitor this kind of thing and automatically switch over.

 Im sure that generator would cost less than the predicted millions that it will cost delta because of this.
