Actually saw this happening this morning!

New Orleans purges final Confederate statue

I've been reading about the process for the past few weeks. It's interesting what had to be done to get this down.

Against illegal drugs. Caffeine is not a monitored and controlled substance. So yes, the child could have easily been anti-drug "just say no" etc and still been addicted to a legal substance (caffeine).

Have you forgotten the entire history of the FDA? I'll try to be good and leave it at that.

@travisdh1 What does the history of an agency have to do with the products consumed and sold as food.

Caffeinated drinks are not a controlled or monitored substance. The kid obviously had an issue, consumed to many and died from a bad ticker.

That's not against drugs. That's against not breaking the law. Which is totally fine, but a very different thing.

                    You're splitting hairs here.

A person can morally be against the use of drugs, or they can want to "not break the law". But your assumption here is that if drugs weren't illegal they'd be used (and that is a bad assumption).

I'm not saying anything against him. I consume more caffeine than that. But the quote was BS. You can't say that I'm anti drugs given my coffee consumption.

Eating catfish is a form of a drug, because everything is just a chemical bag in a specific form. Just because one chemical in that chemical bag can be dangerous doesn't mean you are pro drug use.

If he had used that illegal, evil, devil weed he'd still be alive. Legal, unregulated drugs kill. Caffeine is waaaaaaaaaaay more dangerous than THC. So are Tylenol, Viagra, and most other over the counter "drugs". This country's laws are so fucked it's not even funny.

Against illegal drugs. Caffeine is not a monitored and controlled substance. So yes, the child could have easily been anti-drug "just say no" etc and still been addicted to a legal substance (caffeine).

My assumption is he wasn't against drugs as he took one liberally.

He took an uncontrolled substance liberally.

Eating catfish is a form of a drug, because everything is just a chemical bag in a specific form. Just because one chemical in that chemical bag can be dangerous doesn't mean you are pro drug use.

Caffeine is a drug. Plain and simple. There's nothing more to it. It's a mood enhancer.

And so are all of the chemicals in literally everything.

If we could suck serotonin and dopamine out of water does anyone think we'd bother with anything else.

If I had vials of liquid serotonin and dopamine, I would inject them straight into my eyeball if necessary. That would save a lot of unnecessary steps and calories.
