Blocking social networks after terrorist attacks can do more harm than good

We should be suspicious when governments crack down on speech in the name of safety
Imagine for a moment that you run a small country prone to outbreaks of sectarian violence.

I'm in a two month outage with AT&T fiber. The connection isn't "down" just "not working" and no engineer at AT&T can figure anything out. We've been with the Office of the President for a week, and they only just got a ticket opened to track it!

Russia may soon decommission the world’s most historic launch pad

Sputnik, Gagarin, and Tereshkova all launched from here. So did Scott Kelly.
Site no. 1 in dusty Baikonur, Kazakhstan, is where it all began. In October 1957, an R-7 missile launched the first satellite, Sputnik, into space.

Coal mine leases require more study from the government before they're approved.
On Friday, a federal judge in Montana District Court dealt the Trump Administration another setback pertaining to leasing out federal lands for fossil fuel extraction.
