Pertino is not working after Ubuntu Upgrade

I upgraded my Ubuntu Desktop from 14.04 to 15.04 and Pertino stopped working. My first instinct was to try to reinstall. I am getting a message saying Pertino is already installed, but I am unable to see the Virtual Nic. The uninstall does not work either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Pertino does not work natively on Ubuntu 15.04 because Ubuntu changes how it handles services.
