Supporting the retail stores requires the help desk group to be available from 7am -12pm 7 days a week including holidays and weekends. Most associates are initially trained on an 8am-5pm schedule for approximately 8 weeks before being assigned to a rotating schedule. After training, your schedule could be 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm, or a later shift such as 3pm-11pm. You will given two days off per week; however, it is not likely that those days will be consecutive. This position may also require you to work your scheduled shift even if it is a weekend or holiday. So you must be available to accommodate a flexible and rotating schedule.

I think someone needs to go back to elementary school.

That's not too bad. I can pull off availability of 35 hours a week.

And... eight weeks of training? That's pretty serious!

I get emails from ZipRecruiter. I think I need to adjust it because it's sending me any IT job it sees.

Ya, 8 weeks for a help desk position to help Frank who can't get this POS to turn on.

That's a really long time to have hired someone before you have any idea if they are going to be able to do the job. That is a ton of training for an entry level position.
