I should probably find a game to get into while the family is away, this is my chance to actually play something for a change.

Of course.
If you're like me and don't want a game that requires a commitment, NMS is fun. So is Minecraft.
minecraft has no story, I can't stand it at all.
I play games purely for the story, so MC is just out for me. My kids play it and I really dislike it both in that I just find it insanely boring, but I really dislike the vendor too and feel that they treat their customers like garbage and I wish I could have nothing to do with them.
Meh, I enjoy it when I want quiet. Certainly not a game for every occasion.

Fallout 3 was good... but probably the weakest story of the modern fallout games.

Fallout 3 was good... but probably the weakest story of the modern fallout games.
Well it was first, too. So not unexpected. It was more bringing the franchise up to date.

My friends and I are still playing Don't Starve Together. The game is just so much fun. I've been experimenting with how the AI handles certain challenges currently.

I got my crashed airship stuck and couldn't progress any further (as I didn't have a separate save point) so I gave up, lol.

And it was stuck on a beach, not like I got it stuck doing something that it wasn't meant for.

I should buy a steam controller as the PS controller (while awesome) sucks with the way it needs to be configured for Windows 10.

I've got a Bluetooth PS4 controller. It works great wired or wireless (it can be used via USB while it is charging).
Edit: To make it work perfectly via bluetooth, I needed DS4Windows (http://ds4windows.com/).

I really like my Steam Controller. Very pleased with it.
