This is mostly a "chill with the kids" weekend. They were gone in Houston for a week and a half, so we are getting family time together now.

Leaving Houston and going to India for two weeks (Bangalore, New Dehli, some random park in the north).

Still waiting to hear what I am doing this coming weekend.

Going to see some friends play at Northside Tavern tonight and tomorrow night. The band is called Zydefunk, one of the best zydeco/funk bands you'll ever hear. They have a freaking washboard player FFS.

@scottalanmiller you really should see these guys. Charlie is one of the best bassists I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen Tony Levin (king crimson) live twice. And I have played and recorded much music with the washboard player, he's an amazing percussionist.

Got the oil changed in my car, help my dad-in-law set a post for his mailbox. Now at home, chilling until its time to go to my little girls soccer party. After that? Who knows.
