      Let's say you install 10 VMs of Win 10 on a XS box for use as a "poor man's" VDI.

      Do you still need to have the VDA license?

        Yes, because otherwise, you are not allowed to access those Windows 10 instances remotely.

            It's still full VDI. VDI existed long before the modern concept of VDI specific tools. This is all that VDI used to be.
