        Well that's the first task 🙂 If you've not gotten around to opening the firewall yet, it shouldn't be surprising that it isn't open yet.

        Did you look at the instructions like that Jared sent? It looks like it steps you through the process.

          Yes. In one of the screenshots it lists a Source Port field. I dont have that field. In another screenshot I see Create a reflexive policy. I dont have that either.

            You mean those options just don't exist? Argh, SonicWall sucks SO much!!!

                  @alex.olynyk What is your Sonicwall model? Your snapshot wizard looks different from the NSA series if am not mistaken. If its a low end version like TZ series, try this and setup using the rule wizard.

                    Ah, good catch. I've not used a SW in a good long while, thankfully. We always just tell clients to pull and toss 'em. One of the few pieces of gear that is well worth just replacing. Cheaper to replace than to support.

                          @alex.olynyk Thats strange, then you might not be running sonicOS enhanced. I've used Sonicwall NSA 5 years ago, so might not be up to date! 🙂

                          Did you check the rules wizard by the way?

                            The same sonicwall I've.

                            First update the firmware, last version is:

                            5.9.1.5-16o Jan 04, 2016

                              can you get a screen shot of the port forwarding section?

                                In Sonicwall is called Nat Policies

                                In this example a make a Nat in LAN, to our Exchange Server in X1 Network, Lan.

                                  Can you make a quite walkthrough for the OP of how to port forward 8080 on the outside to 8080 on a specific IP inside?

                                    It's easy.

                                    • Network-->Address Object.
                                      Create an Address Objects with the name and Ip of the server

                                    • Network->NAT Policies.
                                      Add an entry with the Address Object you create before and the port number.

                                    • Firewall-->Access Rules-->Matrix-->Wan to Lan
                                      Create and entry with the port you want to open from Wan to Lan.

                                    That's all.
