You need to contact the VAR that agreements are with and they can have them moved.

Figured that. The VAR is the one that f[moderated] it up in the first place.

I guess I get to bitch about that more on Monday then.

I contacted Microsoft and they fixed it for me, but it took like 8 weeks 😞

I'm not sure the var has anything to do with it.
If that was true, life would be way easier....

When you add them to your VLSC account, anyone can add them to any MS account that someone creates, but they don't have to be associated with the email address the reseller used.

          I never understood this.

When you have an agreement you don't and can't add them to your account. The only way they get added is by a contract number that's setup between you, the VAR and Microsoft.

Your VAR can escalate things much quicker. Shouldn't take more than a day or two.

I don't understand. When I opened my VLSC account 8 + years ago... I just added the agreement/license number to my account. my logon to VLSC was completely different than the email address I gave my VAR.

Yeah, but that agreement is what ties the account to the VAR, you don't get to just add the VAR to any account, it's added using the agreement and has to be approved as well.

You can do this on any account but it's not automated, it's the same as contacting the VAR.

I guess I don't understand what the VAR has to do with anything here?

I see you have a educational account - I wonder what is different in your compared to mine. I've never see a screen like that in my VLSC console.

No, I don't have an educational account. We have an EA. Campus & School is the default selection for adding an agreement.

You can Add users to the agreement but there is always still the primary email named on the agreement which is the main user, you cannot change this yourself. The agreement is not just between you and Microsoft. It's between all three parties.

                        It's under Administration.
