Anyone had to deal with FIPS before? The grub.conf file has fips=1 and I've run dracut to rebuild the initramfs. However, I still get an output of fips_enabled = 0. Prelinking is turned off and I've even completely removed the prelink package.

If I run dracut -f it boots back up and just gives me fips_enabled = 0. However if I run dracut -f -m fips I get a kernel panic and it shuts off. Not sure where to being troubleshooting.

Well I figured it out in case anyone cares. The /etc/grub.conf wasn't being copied to the /boot/grub/grub.conf file. Not really sure why, but we have a password on grub so that might possibly be it. I didn't create this kickstart, so I'm not sure what post install junk is happening that might limit this also.
