It just tracks my heart rate (which is notorious for dropping down to like 40 bpm).

At which point you get up and run around to get the heart rate up!

I had a Fitbit.. I sold it a while back - It was difficult for me as I haven't worn a watch or anything on my wrist in like 25 years....
I have recently thought about getting a new device... From Garmin. Just not sure ..

I will honestly say I love my apple watch but JEEZE I wish the thing was smaller (though not sure how you could make it do all it does and be smaller). If you need just basic data on steps etc. the Fitbit is awesome.
