I think I'm losing my mind here... I know I'm crazy but I think this one is not supposed to present separate drives to the OS? Right?

      http://www.seagate.com/ca/en/internal-hard-drives/solid-state-hybrid/laptop-solid-state-hybrid-drive/?sku=ST500LM000

I went to nuke/pave the laptop (my first with SSHD in ages) and I am showing it as two drives. I thought the need for drivers to make them a single piece of kit to the OS was long ago? What am I missing?

Additional info: Dell restore disks failed, went to old school win7 disk and it's showing 440gb and 8gb as unformatted drives. I double checked the laptop, no SD cards in the slots or anything extra stupid.

E6440 if that matters. It was running 100% perfect before I went to restore it.
