I've got everything but the beans to try that cold brew coffee... next weekend is gonna be interesting!

12oz bag of beans per gallon, lightly roasted. And some cheesecloth for the straining into bottles or jars or whatever. Enjoy.

Yep. It's all getting put together tonight after I get some of the good coffee (Buehler's fresh ground because I don't have a grinder at home yet.)

If you're buying pre-ground, be sure to get the coarsest grind you can (if there is a choice). If it's medium to fine, you only need to go 3-4 days.

They have grinders in the store you can choose your own setting on. I'll be sure to set it closer to fine when I get that tonight (trying for the shortest time possible between grinding and adding to the water.)

I totally want to try this. I have never had a drink, ever, strong enough to give me the jitters.

Same here. And I've gone way over the average toxicity amount before.

That was a great episode. Still not nearly so good as the snu-snu episode.

I'm telling you guys, a long soaked cold brew coffee shop is like liquid meth. @travisdh1 go for a coarse grind and longer soak time. The flavor is much better when coarsely ground.

When you get enough in ya, it goes like this:

Ham sandwich and an apple. Getting grief from my coworkers about my goals slipping for fitness. Got to get my arse moving again.

My mom used to make it all the time. They grew rhubarb right next door.
