      'Updated ' Ramen Noodles.

      Added

      • 3oz chicken
      • Parsley
      • cilantro
      • dehydrated veggies
        *corn
        *peas
        *carrots

One of my favorite ramen add-ons is a small sheet of toasted nori seaweed. You can get them at regular grocery stores now, usually labeled as "seaweed snacks" and like 79 cents.

Curious... I'll have to try that.. I picked up some salted seaweed snacks a few months ago.. was decently okay...

Trying out different things when I feel up to it to add to the hiking/backpacking list of sustainable foods...

I found that I liked them better in a broth than as a snack, but that's me. Out on the trail, you could take a few and whip up a quick, very Asian-y tasting broth over a campfire. And seaweed is very nutritious, lots of trace minerals.

edit: the ones I had were labeled "roasted seaweed snack".

Made fish sticks for the kids . They ate SO many of them. And just a toasted cheese sandwich for me. Things are getting pretty basic with Dominica gone for several days already.

Not enough garlic in the world to kill the flavor of aioli. Don't care what fancy spelling you use, mayo is the devil. The rest of that sounds awesome.

At least it was home-made. Eggs, oil, a bit mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper... yep, that's it.

And who the f*ck said that eating no flesh is the same as a healthy meal? 😛

Chicken cesar salad with minimal dressing with a side of bacon. I've been low (almost no) carb and super low (almost none) sugar for one month. This is the longest I have ever stuck to a diet (time to heal my fatty liver).

I'm down 25 pounds so far.

For lunch today I am having a traditional St. Louis food: Pork Steak. This one was slowed cooked on the grill and I choose no sauce for this one. Sometimes I put sauce or a rub on it but today I didn't feel like it. Here is the link for what a Pork Steak is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork_steak

Seriously??? Your wife is in Florida while you are in Italy, and she has to photograph her lunch and send it to you so that you can post a picture of your wife's lunch on the internet? You, sir, need to find yourself a more useful hobby.

Those are hard to find in GA, but they are delicious. I like to do them slow on a smoker, minimal seasoning.
