@ccwtech $199 is for servers. Clients are only $29.99 and I bet you could get a discount depending how many licances you need.

Both available for free outside of your hosting cost for NC (assuming on Vultr).
If the storage instances ever come back....

I am sure there are other options out there but that's my 2 cents.
I thought about that, but I have many computers with small (but important) data on them so paying $4.99 each don't make much since...

It's not?

Family Backup Solutionposted in IT Discussion
Looking for a tool to backup all the computers I support outside of my normal 9 to 5.
This includes my Parents and Grandparents.
It's a mix of Windows\Mac\Linux. Ideally I would like to backup to B2, however I am opening to other options.
I recently put Backblaze Personal Backup on my girlfriends PC, which works great, but it's $4.99/month to backup less then 10GB.
Would like encryption, dedupe and compression to save on storage bills.
It would be nice to have centralized management but not a hard requirement.

At the end of this article they list
Another open source backup tool that supports Backblaze B2 and has a web based GUI is Duplicati. There are commercial tools with GUIs too: Cloudberry, qBackup, and Duplicacy.

Just use an app?
There's Remote Desktop Viewer on Linux that does VNC well.
Huh?

I have that problem on Vultr's VNC console sometimes.
Me too

When using the VNC console only the keyboard works and mouse works, but clicking does not.
Is that normal?
Update: Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer 11 all don't work.

You were lucky. That something worked does not not mean it is correct.
Excellent Point. Any suggestions on how to check to make sure everything is good?

That has nothing to do with you upgrading directly.
You could easily upgrade point by point.
Ah, I see so go 23, 24, 25, 26, 27?

you should then be able to upgrade from Fedora 22 straight to Fedora 27 using the dnf system upgrade tool.
It worked
