Gentle Leader- Dog head collar
So i've been facing the usual problem as most dog owners have, leash pulling, when i bring lexi out, and if she sees babies, cats, she goes nuts, cant control her, won't listen and its a push pull exercise till we come back home. Sometimes makes me really mad, and i stop the walk very soon, past week lexi gets to walk less than 10 minutes.
Today i got to attend an excellent training provided by the animal rescue team from where i got Lexi, and god it was fun, entertaining, super informative. The trainer is very knowledgable and experienced and her training session was really fun. During the session, when i told her about my issue, she suggested to get "Gentle Leader" which is basically a head collar, not a muzzle, which we put on the dogs nose. So any slight tension on the leash, the dogs nose goes back and so does the body!
I got that and tried it there for some time. Later in the evening we went for a walk for an hour without a single pull, she was gentle, as she already learned that the more she tries she just goes back to the opposite direction.
A good review of this online. I highly recommend this to any dog owners, it doesn't hurt the dog, and does allow the dog to still lick, chew, drink, play etc with this on it. I know its just first day, but i can see the difference and makes me super happy!

RE: Avast! has a free offering for SMBs for an unlimited number of admins/devices
This is great! Setup an account and installed on one machine, and some of the sites are not opening when the web shield is on. I thought its because my account was not validated through email, did that, but same issue. Its intermittent, anyone faced this?

RE: Need to setup a practical dev environment
Docker/Chef is still in the plans but require more planning and testing before we go with this

RE: Avast! has a free offering for SMBs for an unlimited number of admins/devices
That makes sense. For me, I am testing this on my home mac, and I would like to keep the web shield on, but not able to browse when it is on. Opened a ticket on Avast, lets wait for their feedback.

RE: MySQL on Linux to configure Bunch of Rows in a Table
@Lakshmana Since you are new to mysql, I would suggest not to jump on projects, but to learn the basics, commands, try adding sample tables, enter data and check it. Once you learn the basics, then you can start working on the projects.
Seems like a good site http://www.mysqltutorial.org/basic-mysql-tutorial.aspx

google apps, computers and file server activity monitoring
Got a requirement from one of my clients to look for solutions that can monitor google apps email (email sent to domains others than theirs, specific file types, and file sizes- needs to get notified to the MD), monitor computer activities as and when needed, no need to keep this on for all employees all the time, just in case if anything suspicious, turn it on get the user activity as video recorded and check) and also file server activity. The client is dealing with banks and thats why he requires these. All employees will be informed about this as well, but won't be sharing the depth of info being monitored.
Just trying to find the most cost effective (not necessarily free, if a good solution comes with a price he is ok, but don't want to pay a massive fee just to get few features)
So far, I found:
- For google apps mail monitoring: Objectionable content setting (Not sure how effective this can be)
https://support.google.com/a/answer/1346936?hl=en
or
http://www.spectorsoft.com/products/360-recon/ (mainly because of the keyword alert option and extensive tracking options like Document Tracking, Email tracking, user activity )or
http://www.spectorcne.com/features- Computer monitoring: Either use Spectorsoft which can do both or
http://activtrak.com/
I've used this previously, its easy to deploy and can be monitored from the web.
3.File server activity monitoring: Probably manage engine would be easier
Any other products you guys used/suggest?
Apart from that there are basic requirements like block USB, CD etc which I think should be done via AD GP

Sharepoint development guidance
My cousin joined a company recently after her college and would like to learn more on SP development. Would be great if anyone from ML could give her some guidance. Her current company doesnt have much works (they work on project basis for their clients, and seems like they don't have much projects. She can't jump out of that job yet as there is a "bond" for 2 years to be on that job.

RE: Server Build Documentation
What VMs guests are running? Have a look at http://sydiproject.com/home/
I've used it once on my windows server when my boss asked me for all details on that server. Ran Sydi and it gave me an extensive report of that server automatically documented on word.
